This tool or “ Gilding Presser” designed to push leaf into recesses that have been sized with Instacol Gilding System. : The tool is double ended with one end having a beveled edge and the other end being pointed.

Instacoll HA provides slightly stronger adhesion for gold leaf with a weight of 20gm+. The application of Instacoll HA is the same as Instacoll Base with the exception of a slower drying time. HA must dry a minimum of 48 hours before it can be activated with Instacoll Activator HA.

Instacoll Matte works the same way as the Instacoll base except that it produces a matte finish. It can be mixed with Instacoll Base to produce different degrees of brilliance. The Matt can also be applied over the Instacoll Base to produce decorative designs that produce matte and burnished effects like a water gilded picture frame.
